Join the Crew: Volunteer for North West Ecofest!

Every year, a dedicated team of volunteers brings the energy, skills, and enthusiasm that make North West Ecofest a success. From set-up to pack-up, traffic control to kids' activities, our volunteers are the backbone of the festival.

Whether you are a local Tasmanian, visiting from interstate, or traveling from overseas, we want you on our team!

Open Volunteer Roles

We are currently looking for helpers in the following areas:

• Committee Members: Assist with festival planning and organization (approx. 2 hours per week). Seeking expressions of interest ASAP.

• Eco Kids Activities: Help run fun, green-themed activities for children on festival days.

• Set-Up & Pack-Down Crew: Help us build the festival site the day before and pack it away afterward.

• Traffic & Parking Control: Keep the event running smoothly and safely on festival days.

• Presenter and Performer Support: Assist with settling in our presenters and performers into their venues

• Food Service Crew: Guide festival goers through our Waste NOT Hub, stock and collect crockery, clean tables 

• Ticketing & Event Support: Assist with ticketing, information sharing, and helping visitors navigate the site.
